The extremely successful introduction of the Air Pro 4132 air seeder introduced a completely fresh approach to the well known concept of getting seed and fertiliser out to a wide undercarriage.

Prior to this, available choices were machines designed for overseas conditions, mainly European. Predictably, while such machines offer some air seeder advantages, their foreign design constraints do not always suit New Zealand and Australian management techniques and operating conditions.

Aitchison decided to utilise their well proven inverted 'T' boot mounted on the same coil spring and disc coulter undercarriage as the hugely successful Seedmatic 3000 and 8000 Professional series.

Aitchison married this with a world leading seed metering system and completed the machine by designing these features onto a chassis which enables contour following ability unmatched by any other competitive product. It didn't stop there - road transport constraints are a real headache these days and transport dimensions are all important. Aitchison have addressed this problem by designing the Air Pro 4132 and Air Pro 6132 to fold into class leading compact transport modes. The Air Pro 4132 folds to a transport width of a narrow 2.7m (8'8")

Australia is well accustomed to air seeders, many of which are Australian designed and built. Most are specifically designed to plant large crops areas. The versatile Aitchison Air Pro 4132 featuring Aitchison's proven existing pasture rejuvenation abilities was an instant success there.

Success builds on success, and hard on the heels of the Aitchison Air Pro 4132 Australian introduction came a call for a heavier, even more versatile, larger coverage and higher capacity machine. The Aitchison Air Pro 6132 was developed and introduced in Australia to address this need.
